About Habpic

A habit tracker you can look back on.

Habpic is a habit tracker built around photographic proof. Instead of checking a box, people prove completed habits with photos, creating a visual record of their consistency and progress.

Habpic brings recurring habits, photo proof, focus sessions, flexible reminders, visual analytics, home screen widgets, and optional friend accountability into one experience. Personal proofs stay private by default. When people choose a Proof Pact, only linked habits can contribute, and each photo can still be withheld while completion status is shared.

Most habit trackers record what people say they did. Habpic helps them keep evidence of what they actually did.

Founder story

Jesse Wisdom

Founder, based in Nigeria

Jesse Wisdom's journey into technology began in junior secondary school. After he and his brother had played nearly every 2D Java game they could find for an old Samsung GT-C3222, they became curious about how games were made. That question led them into art, programming, scripting, Blender, and storytelling through years of self-directed learning.

They experimented with GameMaker Studio and GML, then RPG Maker VX Ace and MV. With support from their father, who bought their software licences, they completed Legends: The First Prophecy and released it on itch.io in 2019. Its first $13 in sales proved that something they imagined could reach a real customer.

Jesse later built Turbo Winds, a top-scrolling space shooter made with Godot, and earned his first mobile advertising revenue. The numbers were small, but the lesson was lasting: loving the craft of building was not the same as knowing how to bring a product to people.

Web development became the next chapter. After initially stopping at HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Jesse found Maisy Leigh's work and was personally inspired by the way she combined frontend development with thoughtful independent products. He moved into React, Next.js, Node, Express, TypeScript, Tailwind, MongoDB, and eventually AI as another practical creative tool.

Mobile development had remained a skill Jesse repeatedly started and postponed. The RevenueCat Shipyard: Creator Contest became the reason to immerse himself fully. Habpic grew from that challenge and from a simple belief: effort becomes easier to value when people can see the evidence of it.

Founder quotes

Habpic exists because completed effort deserves more than a disappearing checkmark. A photo gives progress a memory.

Jesse Wisdom, Founder of Habpic

The first game my brother and I sold earned $13. It was small, but it changed what building meant to me because someone outside our home chose it.

Jesse Wisdom, Founder of Habpic

I built Habpic while teaching myself mobile development. That learning journey shaped the product: start clearly, prove the work, and let progress become visible.
