Jesse Wisdom is a self-taught developer based in Nigeria and the creator of Habpic. His work spans games, web development, and mobile products. Habpic brings together photo habits, focused work, and creative rewards, reflecting his interest in making progress tangible. He is now concentrating on distribution for a product that has reached users beyond his home market.

Full bio
Jesse became interested in technology around 2013–2014. Curiosity about games led him into art, programming, and self-directed development. Early work included GameMaker and RPG Maker projects with his brother, followed by web and mobile products.
Habpic grew from his decision to commit to mobile development through the RevenueCat Shipyard: Creator Contest. Built with React Native and Expo, it combines photo habits with focus sessions, analytics, and creative personalization.
Jesse has built around limited hardware and software access. He describes persistence and resourcefulness as central to his approach. With Habpic functioning and generating early revenue, his next priority is reaching more of the people it was made for.

The story behind Habpic



Founder story
The idea behind Habpic is that completed effort deserves a lasting record. Photos provide that record; Gallery and collectible items offer a creative reason to revisit it.
Jesse learned through games, websites, and mobile development, finding ways to work with the tools he had. His father helped pay for an Apple Developer account so he could keep shipping.
The present challenge is distribution: learning which content, creators, acquisition channels, and store improvements help Habpic reach people who will use it.
