This Privacy Policy explains how Habpic ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to ensuring your personal habit data remains private and secure.

Data Collection

We collect multimedia proofs (photos, videos, audio) and text reflections to facilitate your habit tracking journey. Metadata related to these uploads is also stored for organization.

Information We Collect

To provide our habit tracking services, we collect the following types of information:

  • Multimedia Proofs: Photos, videos, and audio recordings you capture within the app to verify habit completion.
  • Habit Data: Habit names, schedules, completion logs, and text-based reflections.
  • Google Account Data: When you use Google OAuth, we access your email address and profile information for authentication and to facilitate cloud backups.

Data Usage

Your data is used solely to provide the habit tracking service, synchronize across devices via Google Drive, and generate progress insights.

Google API Limited Use Disclosure

Habpic's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Service User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell your Google data to third parties.

Google Drive Integration

Habpic offers an optional feature to sync your media evidence to your personal Google Drive. We only access the specific folder created by Habpic and do not view or modify any other files in your Drive.

Data Security & Protection

Your data is encrypted during transit and while stored. We implement strict access controls to ensure your habit evidence remains private and is only accessible by you on your authorized devices.

Third-Party Services

We integrate with the Google Drive API for secure cloud storage. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for information on how they handle your data at rest.

User Rights

You have the right to access, export, or delete your data at any time through the in-app settings menu.
